His past credits include being a part of international pop opera group The Ten Tenors, Tony in the 2010 Australian production of West Side Story, Bustopher Jones/Gus/Growltiger in the 2015-2016 Australian season of Cats (a role that won him the Green Room Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical), Corny Collins in the UK tour of Hairspray and Gerry Goffin in the 2017-2018 Australian tour of B eautiful: The Carole King Musical. At certain performances the role of ‘Christine Daaé’ will be played by Holly-Anne Hull.Josh Piterman is an established musical theatre performer and classical crossover artist who has been working consistently on Australian and UK stages for more than 15 years. The cast also includes Saori Oda as ‘Carlotta Giudicelli’, Matt Harrop as ‘Monsieur Firmin’, Adam Linstead as ‘Monsieur André’, Greg Castiglioni as ‘Ubaldo Piangi’, Francesca Ellis as ‘Madame Giry’ and Ellie Young as Meg Giry.
The London production of The Phantom of the Opera currently stars double Olivier Award nominee Killian Donnelly as ‘The Phantom’, Lucy St Louis as ‘Christine Daaé’ and Rhys Whitfield as ‘Raoul’. And who could forget the performances of Michael Ball, John Barrowman, Killian Donnelly, Ramin Karimloo, Michael Xavier in the role of Raoul. Claire Moore, Gina Beck, Anna O’Byrne have all given memorable performances of Christine Daeé. The Phantom has been played by John Owen-Jones, Ramin Karimloo, Peter Polycarpou, Ben Forster andDavid Thaxton. Whilst the production is still closely associated with its original cast, Michael Crawford, Sarah Brightman and Steve Barton, who originated the roles of The Phantom, Christine Daeé and Raoul in London and on Broadway, there have been many memorable actors and actresses performing the roles over the last 35 years.
